Welcome to the eighth grade where students strive for spiritual growth and academic excellence!
My hope is that students come into the classroom with a positive attitude, open-mind, and willingness to learn, which helps to create a positive learning environment where students feel safe sharing their thoughts and beliefs. They learn that preparedness, participation, dedication, and effort lead to great success in being independent thinkers. Students develop a sense of responsibility and independence in both academics and their faith. Students establish a strong moral foundation and leadership skills to be successful in all aspects of life. St. John Vianney graduates have proven to be well-prepared for high school with many of them placing in Honors and Advanced Placement classes. The eighth graders are encouraged and challenged to be independent, lifelong learners, and responsible citizens.
